ERASMUS+ PROJECT AWARDED

Last June we were informed that the project Erasmus+ KA101 - Experimenting Science- we submitted in the month of April had been accepted. This is a grant given by the European Union together with the national agency SEPIE (Spanish Service for educative internationalisation) that will allow 5 of our teachers to stay at a British country in order to improve their English language fluency and to know first hand new educational actions.

Last 6th of July, the School Council passed this project drafted by the Team Group that consists of the participants of the stay, two members of the Administrations of the high school, and two members of the Parents Association. This project has obtained 90 out of 100 possible points, a very good mark since the minimum one was 71. There has been 800 projects all over the state and just 320 have been granted.

This opportunity of staying abroad will take place during next course 2015-2016 and will let the high school improve our teacher's linguistic competence what will have a direct effect on our students, the teaching methodologies and the quality of the teaching, optimising the social cohesion of the educational community.

A very important goal reached that will encourage us to go on working hopefully to get, later on, a scholarship for our students to stay abroad (KA102)
